This policy explains how Acharya CPA & Co. ("we") handles information when you visit acharyacpa.com or contact us. It does not replace the confidentiality terms in a signed engagement letter, which govern client information.
Information we collect
- Information you give us when you book a call, email us or complete a form, such as your name, email, phone and details about your business.
- Basic technical data from your browser, such as pages visited and device type, if analytics are enabled.
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored.
How we use it
- To respond to you, schedule calls and provide services you request
- To improve the website
- To meet legal and professional obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Client tax information
Tax return information is protected under federal law, including Internal Revenue Code section 7216, and professional standards. We use or disclose it only as permitted by law and with your consent where required.
Service providers
We use trusted providers for scheduling, email, document exchange and accounting software. They may process information on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality commitments.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to record-keeping obligations, by emailing akansha@acharyacpa.com.
